Printed materials that have a made-to-last intended purpose and are exposed to extreme external conditions require a printing substrate that is more durable. This is where SIHL’s synthetic materials and composites come in.
ENDURO, a composite material made from paper and film, is suitable for the manufacture of tear-resistant envelopes, hiking maps, city maps or start numbers. PICOFILM’s coated films possess special properties that are used in the production of particularly hard-wearing printed materials. For example, wipe-clean menus, signs, brochures and ID cards that need to be waterproof, chemical and heat-resistant, and tear-resistant.
