ENDURO Premium 150 matt

Tear-resistant paper. Ideal for tear-resistant wristbands for access control and identification, hang tags, loop-lock tags, durable brochures and graphic applications in challenging full-colour printing.

ENDURO Premium 150 matt is a tear-resistant composite material consisting of a 40 µm PP film core and white, matt-coated paper surfaces. The three-layer product structure is durable, resistant to edge tearing and water impermeable. It can be cut, punched, perforated, drilled, embossed, scored, folded, glued and bound without issue.

The matt-coated paper surfaces offer optimized feed properties and outstanding printing results and can be printed with all common standard inks and varnishes in offset and flexo printing. Suitable for thermal transfer printing, for laser printing and printing on HP Indigo sheet-fed printing systems. With excellent colour rendering, high print contrast and good barcode readability, as well as perfect drying and ink/toner adhesion.

Thanks to the multi-layer product structure ENDURO offers an affordable, eco-friendly and sustainable alternative to fully synthetic media. It is PVC-free and FSC®-certified.

    Food contact
Please inform us whenever intended use is linked to food contact.
It may be possible to provide a Declaration of Compliance confirming material suitability for your specific application.

    Waste disposal
ENDURO Premium 150 matt has been awarded a recyclability certificate by the Cyclos-HTP Institute. According to this certificate, the majority of the paper fibres (73% of the total composite) can be recovered in the paper recycling process. The film is separated and can be used for thermal energy recovery. When sorted using near-infrared sensors (NIR), this product is identified as paper and assigned to the paper stock stream for recycling. It can therefore be disposed of both via the recycling path for waste paper and via the recycling path for lightweight packaging.

In the recycling path for waste paper, it is classified as “Mixed waste paper, grade 5.01” according to EN 643. In the path for light packaging (LVP), it is classified as “PPK (paper, cardboard, carton) from LVP, fraction no. 550”.

As conversion (i.e. printing) may significantly change the characteristics of a product, these recycling recommendations may only apply to ENDURO material before processing.
