High quality, satin canvas with a natural structure for professional photo prints and artistic reproduction.

Luna Canvas Prime Satin AQ is a high quality artistic canvas on a cotton / polyester blend base with a coating for waterbased inks. The 2:1 weave offers a light irregular structure, which makes it optimal for artistic and Fine Art prints. The absence of brighteners preserve the natural colouring and leads to a higher light stability and longer lifespan.
The satin finish coating enables photorealistic prints with excellent colours and deep, rich blacks. The material shows no white-scoring and prints are splashproof.

    General tips

    Processing and storage should ideally take place in a climate of 35 to 65% relative humidity at a temperature of 10 to 30°C. Due to the natural nature of the material, it tends to stand up sideways at high humidity, which can cause printhead damage. We therefore recommend that you remove the material from its original packaging just before use and start printing immediately. When finished, immediately stow the material back in the original packaging. When handling inkjet-coated materials, we recommend wearing cotton gloves to avoid fingerprints.

    The slightly glossy inkjet coating is water-resistant and scratch-resistant. Water-resistant prints can be achieved on the output devices specifically listed below (with pigm. and dye inks). The product also allows very high contrast and brilliant prints with most pigmented inks (see compatibility list). For unprotected images with longer life, the use of pigmented inks is recommended. The application is mainly concentrated indoors. The medium shows a very fast drying time (instant dry), can be sewn and also used as a banner very well. As additional protection for your prints against mechanical damage and environmental influences (UV radiation, ozone, dirt, etc.), we recommend the use of a protective varnish.
