Technologies
Facestock film for the production of product labels in the fields of beverages, home & personal care as well as tyres.
P-50 white IHG1 is a white 79 µm PET facestock film, with a gloss coating on the front side for the printing of variable information using water-based inkjet printers, with a topcoated reverse for improved anchorage of adhesive. Thanks to the good barrier properties of the base film, this product is particularly suitable for combining with special adhesives and/or for bonding special surfaces.
This film’s process characteristics are similar to standard PET films. No change to the processes is necessary. Self-adhesive coaters and downstream processors benefit from its versatility: This film is suitable for both dye and pigment inks. End customers get a fast-drying, easy-to-process product with high colour brilliance, sharply contoured printouts and good water resistance.
