Tear-resistant paper with high opacity due to metallised film core. Ideal for opaque and tear-resistant envelopes and mailing pouches. No internal printing necessary.
ENDURO Effect 130 Opaque silver is a tear-resistant composite material consisting of a metallised 30 µm PP film core and uncoated paper surfaces. The front side is white, the reverse side slightly shimmering silver. The three-layer product structure is durable, opaque, resistant to edge tearing and water impermeable. It can be cut, punched, perforated, drilled, embossed, folded, glued and bound without issue.
High-quality paper surfaces offer optimized feed properties and printing results. Thanks to fast-acting and absorbent surfaces, all common standard inks and coating can be used in offset and flexo printing. Suitable for variable dot matrix printing. Runs through some laser printing systems, tests required in advance. With excellent drying and ink/toner adhesion. Can be stamped easily and marked manually.
Thanks to the multi-layer product structure ENDURO offers an affordable, eco-friendly and sustainable alternative to fully synthetic media. It is PVC-free and FSC®-certified

ENDURO Effect 130 Opaque silver has been awarded a recyclability certificate by the Cyclos-HTP Institute. According to this certificate, the majority of the paper fibres (73% of the total composite) can be recovered in the paper recycling process. The film is separated and can be used for thermal energy recovery. When sorted using near-infrared sensors (NIR), this product is identified as paper and assigned to the paper stock stream for recycling. It can therefore be disposed of both via the recycling path for waste paper and via the recycling path for lightweight packaging.
In the recycling path for waste paper, it is classified as “Mixed waste paper, grade 5.01” according to EN 643. In the path for light packaging (LVP), it is classified as “PPK (paper, cardboard, carton) from LVP, fraction no. 550”.
As conversion (i.e. printing) may significantly change the characteristics of a product, these recycling recommendations may only apply to ENDURO material before processing.
Originally packed under recommended storage conditions ENDURO rolls and sheets can be stored for at least 3 years.
