SIHL PRESENTS FOUR NEW PRODUCTS FOR THE ADVERTISING & POS MARKET
Sihl is expanding its portfolio for the signage market with four new products. Two roll-up films and two backlit films will be added to the range and will be available to customers from October 2024.
New roll-up films
The SyntiSOL Roll-Up grey back 280 Plus satin (3399) is the optimal choice for luxurious high-end applications. The film is finished with a grey back coating and is therefore particularly opaque. Thanks to its high opacity, it is ideal for presenting high-quality advertising messages.
If flexibility is more important than high opacity, the SyntiSOL Roll-Up PP 260 Pro satin (3398) is a good alternative. It impresses with an excellent price-performance ratio. In addition to the classic roll-up, it can also be used for other applications for which synthetic films are suitable.
Advantages of roll-up films 3398 and 3399:
- Optimised for printing with solvent, latex and UV inks
- Excellent flatness
- High scratch resistance
- High colour brilliance and saturation
- Outstanding image sharpness
- Tear resistant
- High opacity
- Water repellent
- PVC-free
New backlit films
Backlit Film Plus 210 glossy (3561) is a glossy coated polyester film. The light-scattering layer applied to the reverse side ensures particularly brilliant, bright colours in incident and transmitted light during the day and at night. The material is also waterproof, making it ideal for use in indoor and outdoor light boxes. Thanks to its thickness of 210 μm, both the glossy material and the matt-coated version Backlit Film Plus 210 matt (3562) enable easy and crease-free fitting of light boxes. The matt surface also has a slight silky lustre and ensures a homogeneous image.
Advantages of backlit films 3561 and 3562:
- Optimised for printing with solvent, latex and UV inks
- High brilliance in incident and transmitted light
- Waterproof and therefore suitable for indoor and outdoor applications
- High rigidity for crease-free application
- Good scratch resistance
- High dimensional stability
- Tear resistant
