Beim Transport von Gütern auf dem Seeweg müssen lange Distanzen, oft bei extremen Wetterbedingungen, überwunden werden. Dabei werden Etiketten genutzt, um Güter jeglicher Klasse, z.B. auch gefährliche Substanzen oder toxische Chemikalien, zuverlässig nach GHS zu kennzeichnen.

Approval according to the globally recognized standard BS5609 Section 3 guarantees reliable, resistant marking in the selected printing process for such applications. We are pleased that PICOFILM O-60 WHITE XM1 from the FACESTOCK range from Sihl is certified for seven different inkjet printers or print heads (Epson (3x), Primera, Swift, HP PageWide, Afinia). The resistant surface is offered with a white, robust film.

In addition, the product is free of hazardous substances and is also characterized by its optimal thickness, which means that more labels can be printed on a roll compared to other matt inkjet films. The advantage: higher productivity thanks to fewer roll changes and protection of the environment thanks to the very low use of plastics.
